Talking Therapies
CBT & EMDR Online
I am a trained CBT Clinical Supervisor with experience of offering individuals and group supervision in three languages (English, Japanese, Italian)
I have experience of lecturing at academic level and supervising clinician with various level of experience, from beginners during their postgraduate certificate courses to advanced therapists attending doctorate programs. I can offer both single and group supervision.
I consider supervisory alliance as the core of supervision, I approach our session in a supportive and calm way and I like to adapt to the needs based on your feedback.
I see supervision not only as a place for learning & improving but also as a safe space to nurture social support and foster professional growth.
During supervision I will listen to your case presentation while tracking the most immediate questions to address them together from a clinical and interpersonal focus.
I also make sure that our supervision will be structured in order to allow time for self-observation, reflection and exercise during supervision.
I can use various methods of evaluations in supervision, I have experience of marking clinical competence using the CTSR, the ACCS and the UCL CBT Competency Scale. I consider self-assessments and personal development central to offer high quality supervision. I endeavour to maintain this by continuing my clinical practice, ad hoc lecturing at the University of Southampton, and offering supervision in world top universities, at the University of Oxford and at the University College London, while being supervised by highly experts in the field.
I use an integrative approach in treatment formulation and treatment planning, in specific I have experience in using various cognitive and behavioural models such as:
